This week I'm bringing you a story from Cuba. "Dear, Deer" Said the Turtle is a popular story with versions of it being written in many countries throughout the world. It is about a very clever turtle and an overconfident deer. It is also a lesson in not judging someone by thier appearences, there's always more than meets the eye!

The retelling of this story is written by from the book 'Tales Our Abuelitas Told Us'.
